Note: This document is a single Platform Master Agreement consolidating the Terms of Use, Value-Added Services terms, Account Closure terms, and Identity Verification terms, navigable by role, with cross-references to specialised agreements (Privacy Policy, Partner Agreement, EULA) where deeper detail is required.

1. Acceptance and Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form the binding agreement between you and CP4U.

You accept these Terms when you first sign up for a CP4U account, or by continuing to use the platform after these Terms come into force. If you do not accept these Terms, do not sign up and do not use the platform.

These Terms apply alongside:

If there is any conflict, the more specific document prevails for the matter it covers. For matters not covered by any specific document, these Terms apply.

These Terms apply to all users, in all roles, across all CP4U-operated surfaces.


2. Definitions & Platform Status

2.1 Platform Operator & Licensing Status

The CP4U Platform is owned and operated by Sunrise Recruit, a fully licensed employment agency. We hold valid employment agency licenses in both Malaysia (Jabatan Tenaga Kerja Semenanjung Malaysia - JTKSM) and Singapore (Ministry of Manpower - MOM). By using the Platform, you acknowledge that CP4U operates as a digital extension of our licensed recruitment services. All placement, sourcing, and matching activities conducted through this Platform comply strictly with the Employment Agencies Act of the respective jurisdictions.

3. Who Can Use CP4U

3.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to register as an Employer, Partner, or Admin.

To register as a Candidate, you must be at least 16 years old. If you are between 16 and 18 years old, you may only use the Platform if your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We explicitly disclaim any liability arising from misrepresentation of age by any User.

3.2 Capacity

By using CP4U you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. For Employer or Agency Partner accounts, the individual creating the Account confirms they have authority to bind the business they represent.

3.3 Prohibited users

You may not register or use the Platform if you are barred from entering recruitment contracts, have previously been suspended by CP4U, or if doing so would violate applicable sanctions.


4. Account Creation, Identity Verification, and Account Security

4.1 Registration

You create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information and updating it when it changes.

4.2 Identity and Business Verification (KYC)

To maintain the curated quality of our Platform, certain roles require verification before activation:

Note: Verification is currently processed via administrative review. We do not currently collect automated biometric data for eKYC. Your submitted verification documents are handled in strict accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4.3 Account security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us immediately at security@cp4u.work if you suspect unauthorised access.


5. The Five Roles and What Each Can Do

5.1 Guest

Can browse public pages, see masked job listings, read marketing pages. Cannot apply to jobs, refer candidates, or post jobs.

5.2 Candidate

A verified individual seeking employment. Can: build a profile, apply to public jobs, receive referrals from Partners, enrol in Academy courses, rate employers, manage privacy settings. Cannot: browse other candidates' profiles, post jobs, see raw employer hiring analytics.

5.3 Employer

A verified business with hiring needs. Can: upload job descriptions, submit job intake, manage pipeline, send messages to candidates via the platform, view hiring analytics for their own pipeline. Cannot: publish jobs directly to the public marketplace without admin review, contact candidates outside the platform until initial contact has been made on-platform.

5.4 Partner

A vetted recruiter operating under the Dollarize sub-brand. Can: refer candidates to jobs, post jobs sourced from their own client relationships, track referral pipeline, build their own public profile, earn commission (offline). Cannot: contact candidates outside the platform without consent, bypass Academy gating.

5.5 Admin

CP4U platform operations staff. Can review and approve/reject entities. Cannot alter audit logs or access data outside official duties.


6. Curation, Intake, and Admin Review

No job, no Partner profile, and no Career Fair appears on the public marketplace without first being reviewed by Admin. We reserve the right of editorial discretion. We may reject submissions for discriminatory language, unrealistic compensation, vague descriptions, suspected scams, or non-compliance with minimum wage laws.


7. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

7.1 General

You agree to use the Platform only for its intended purposes.

7.2 Prohibited content

You must not submit Content that violates law, infringes IP, discriminates, is offensive, defamatory, constitutes spam, or contains malware.

7.3 Prohibited behaviour

You must not use bots/scrapers, reverse-engineer the Platform, bypass security, compete with the Platform using extracted data, or misrepresent your identity.

8. Content You Submit

You own the Content you submit. You grant CP4U a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, and display your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform. We do not use your Content to train third-party large language models without your separate consent.


9. AI-Augmented Features

9.1 No guarantee of accuracy

AI outputs are advisory only. We do not warrant that any AI-generated text, score, ranking, or recommendation is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You must exercise your own judgement.

No Systemic Liability: CP4U expressly disclaims any liability for alleged bias, discrimination, or disparate impact arising from the Platform's AI-augmented matching, scoring, or JD extraction features. Employers and Partners are strictly required to conduct independent human reviews of all AI-flagged or AI-generated outputs before making any hiring or representation decisions.

9.2 Human decisions

Final hiring, rejection, screening, and placement decisions are made by humans. AI assists but does not decide.


10. Platform Fees, Payments, and Offline Billing

10.1 Free for Candidates. In strict compliance with EA regulations in Malaysia and Singapore, CP4U does not and will never charge Candidates any fees for job placement, application matching, or platform registration.

10.2 Employer & Partner Billing. Currently, the Platform does not process online payments, credit card transactions, or digital tokens. Any commission, placement fees, or value-added service fees accrued by Employers or Partners will be billed and invoiced offline under the separate Commercial Service Agreement signed between you and Sunrise Recruit.

10.3 Future E-Wallets/Tokens. CP4U reserves the right to introduce on-platform payment gateways, tokenized reward systems, or digital wallets in the future. Applicable terms will be published and notified to you prior to the activation of such features.


11. Commission and Placement Fees (Partner & Employer Specific)

All financial obligations, including but not limited to placement fees owed by Employers and commissions owed to Partners, are governed entirely by the offline Commercial Service Agreement (CSA) or Partner Agreement executed between the respective party and Sunrise Recruit. The Platform serves merely as a system of record for tracking pipeline progression; however, the final determination of successful placement, guarantee periods, and fee payouts shall be exclusively dictated by the signed offline agreements.


12. Privacy and Data Protection

We process Personal Data in accordance with the PDPA (Malaysia) and PDPA (Singapore). By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. Users acting in Employer or Partner capacities agree to handle any Candidate Personal Data they access strictly for recruitment purposes and in full compliance with applicable data protection laws.


13. Intellectual Property

Except for the Content you submit, all rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform (including software, algorithms, UI/UX, branding, and aggregated data) remain the exclusive property of CP4U and its licensors. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to access the Platform under the EULA.


14. Suspension, Termination, and Account Closure

14.1 Termination by You: You may close your Account at any time by contacting Admin.

14.2 Termination by Us: We may suspend or terminate your Account immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms, violate applicable laws, or engage in conduct that exposes CP4U to legal or financial risk.

14.3 Survival: Sections 7, 8.2, 11, 13, 15, 16, and 18 shall survive the termination of your Account.


15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

15.1 "AS IS" Disclaimer: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. CP4U EXPLICITLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, NOR DO WE GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC HIRING OUTCOMES OR JOB PLACEMENTS.

15.2 Limitation of Liability: IN NO EVENT SHALL CP4U, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA) ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. CP4U'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO CP4U IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) MYR 500.


16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CP4U, its affiliates, and their respective officers and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, fines, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law (including but not limited to MOM/JTK regulations and data privacy laws); or (d) any third-party claim alleging that your Content infringes their rights.


17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law or platform features. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notification. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance.


18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

18.1 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

18.2 Dispute Resolution: Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiations. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in Malaysia.
